With UptoSettlement, the buyer signs a maximum amount once. The facilitator then settles only the real usage on Stellar (tokens generated, seconds of access, rows returned) and the contract refunds the rest in the same transaction.

settled events from the contract, read directly from the public Soroban RPC on testnet. The page checks again every 30 s while it is visible (periodic polling, not streaming). The RPC keeps about 7 days of events.

Simulation or real testnet settlement

Walk through the same flow with amounts generated locally. The simulation sends no transactions; you can also settle the same usage for real on testnet, where a project-owned demo buyer signs the ceiling. The real settlements are in the section above.

The buyer signs this maximum once. In the real flow it is an authorization signature over the contract. The simulation signs nothing; a real settlement is signed by the project's demo buyer, not by you.
